Sarah Kay Bookmark

My mojo has deserted me since New Year! I just can't seem to have any 'bright ideas' at all!  So this is very (lol) similar to one I did last year for another young lady.

Sarah Kay stamp, coloured with Promarkers. The second image is to be used as a bookmark so have perforated the end section.

Thanks for looking.

When  I saw this on the Martha Stewart website/blog I just knew had to make this for OH. His sister said when she first saw us together we looked like goldfish when we kissed goodbye!

It's all hearts or half heart shapes either punched or cut. Simples!  Sentiment is printed from computer. Hope he likes it.

Clip Art for a change ......

Apologies again! I've been a bit remiss with my blogging although I've still been looking at all your blogs, admiring your cards and your antics!

I've been busy tidying & clearing OLD paperwork & shredding & making sure spare room was ready for visitors arriving this week. Nearly there. Have also booked our annual outing to South of France but this year with a difference...... we're staying in Monte Carlo this time in David Coulthard's hotel no less, and we're being transferred from Nice airport in a helicopter! So excited about this extravagant trip. Normally we hire a car & stay in a wee village on the coast between Nice and Monaco but decided to just go for it! So not like me. Am so predictable in choosing what am used to & sure of normally. lol Can't wait. So looking forward to it.

Have managed to make a couple of cards even though me mojo had gone astray for a while. It's so hard to get back into routine after Christmas, don't you think.

This image is a clip art. Cut out with Nestabilities Labels. Flowers are punched with Kuretake 'Heart Petal Flower', small flower in centre is from 'Prima Petites Heather' I got from the SECC a few years ago with Papermania 'Green Pearl Brads' in centre, paper is from Dovecraft 'Wild Blossom'. The butterfly was a gift but think it's Martha Stewart and the paper edging is definitely Martha Stewart. Pearls are from Joanna Sheen. Ribbon is from stash & lordy knows where I got that!

Red Squirrel

This was a wee bit difficult to make into a card but fortunately the lady liked what I did. She just loves watching the red squirrels outside her window. Was difficult to decoupage cos I had a problem seeing the 'obvious' cutting lines! Oooooo sometimes I just think I think too much about things instead of getting on with it!! lol.

Martha Stewart punch again for the edge of the layers.

Happy New Year .......

So sorry am so late with my New Year wishes but just don't seem to have had a mo to myself  lately.  Anyway... am here now and after posting this will be off admiring all your blog updates ahve missed recently.

My OH saw this pic and it reminded him of a a horse loving friend who died recently so he asked me to make it into a card for his friend's wife. Cut out 3 and decoupaged so the horse does actually look as if it's nose is coming over the fence towards you. Well it does IRL but a bit difficult to show in a photo! lol Martha Stewart punch for edge.

So a Happy New Year to you all. Hope it's a guid yin.

Pink Gorjuss Birthday Girl

Apologies for the photo but find it so difficult in the winter days. Coloured the Gorjuss girl with my water pencils & cut her out with Nestabilities & added some bling to make it more girly for the 9 year old it's going to.

Used Martha Stewart edge punch on bottom edge. Sentiment printed direct to card.

Not Christmas! Wey Hey!!

Sorry! What a bad blogger I've been but I have a great excuse. lol. Was soooooo behind with my Christmas cards just had to get on with them. {*rolls eyes to ceiling*}

Have popped in to visit you all when have been logged on but that hasn't been that often.

Hooray! Have finished my Christmas cards and now doing my birthday cards to keep me up to date through to January cos I really need to pack up all my stash and clear my dining room table for Christmas dinner! Ha ha. Although my 79 year old Mum thinks if I run out of time she could eat her dinner from a lap tray! As if!!

I made 2 of the easel cards for my nieces' birthdays. Forgot was going to use Promarkers & stamped them on wrong card. Doh! My how they bleed. Used Martha Stewart edge punch and my new Nellie Snellen dies for the raised sentiment as well as the image. Miss Anya stamp is from the 'Rain Snow Shine' set from The Greeting Farm. Sentiment was printed direct to card. Flat backed gems from stash.

Seasonal Bleatings ....

Apologies for being absent from Blogland for so long but so much to do, so little time. You know what I mean. Have been having a peak at all your blogs when I could ... just didn't manage to update my own. Was in Edinburgh for a long weekend at my sister's. Went to see 'We Will Rock You' while there. Fantastic show!

When I saw this little lamb on Jak's Blog I just knew I wanted to give it a go. Don't you just love Shaun the Sheep. He's sooooo cute! Thanks Jak.

This is all punched shapes or Nestabilities Circles but didn't have a teardrop for his ears so I used the petal from a flower punch. Embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. Added some Stickles here & there which shows up blue in photos but isn't irl! My photography is rubbish as usual. Sorry. Since am so late with making Christmas cards this year could be loads of little 'Season's Bleatings' running around!
