Cute Little Puppy

It's been a busy week but have finally managed a couple of cards. Needed a cute card for a wee cutey who will be 4 & eventually found this in my 'ideas' box. Don't know where the template is from sorry, but whoever it was thanks for sharing.

All shapes cut with Nestabilities on my Cuttlebug, sentiment computer printed and name cut from a Cuttlebug Alphabet. Martha Stewart Edge punch strip under sentiment plate. Made backing paper just by printing paws all over A4 card on computer.

Tri Shutter Dog

I'm positive I'd scheduled this card in a post for 30th April but it's gone AWOL. Or something weird has happened in Blogland! So if you see this post twice.... it wisnae me!! tee hee!

Special request to make a simple card but to include the ladies dog, so printed off several copies & decoupaged pup. Embossed panel & added butterfly to embelish.

Sentiment printed direct to card. Background papers & nestabilities for other pieces.

Simple Birthday

Was looking for a simple man's card for OH birthday & came up with this......

The background is direct to paper with my little ink pads & polished with tissue. It is much more subtle in real life. The stamped images are all from SU Pocket Silhouettes. Sentiment is computer generated.

For a Gentleman

For a gentleman 80 years young who likes his garden.

Decided to finally try a tri shutter fold card. Quite enjoyed it but had a bit of practice on paper first cos instructions I had were for 12" x 5.5" & card I have is A4.

Stampin' Up Pocket Silhouettes stamp, Cuttlebug Alphabet for numbers, Nellie Snellen Rectangle Frame Dies for computer generated sentiment inside. Decoupaged the picture just to give it some depth.

Final Mother's Day Cards.....

And at last some I'm happy with!               In blue .... or Lemon with embossing ......

Purple is my favourite colour so had to try one of my Mother's Day cards in that! lol. 

 

Sarah Kay stamped image coloured with Promarkers. Punched flowers with Kuretake and a.n. other which I can't remember at the mo, Papermania brad, backing paper is from the Dovecraft Amethyst - Floral Prints pack. Flower spacer is from a load I bought on ebay. Used some netting have had from my dressmaking days instaed of a ribbon just for a change. Pearls from stash.

If I manage to have time to photograph any other MD cards I try I'll post them later but am running out of time as well as ideas and am not there yet! Watch this space.

Can you tell how I'm struggling with the MD cards but determined to use the Pocket Silhouettes cos I love 'em! Did a second one with just a slight variation....

Mother's Day ........

 

My 2nd attempt at the charity Mother's Day cards. lol. This one was quite time consuming so although I like it I decided not to repeat it.

 
 

Stampin Up Pocket Silhouettes, Nestabilities Label, punched heart petal flowers, Martha Stewart edge punch, fern leaves from a corner punch and just picked out the little bits I needed, flat backed beads are Robin's Nest.
