Scowl Owl! lol

This was supposed to look cute! And it does IRL. Honest! It's just that with my photography & the head being smaller than it's meant to & the fold kept 'popping up' when I was trying to take photo .... no matter how many times I tried, it's now a 'Scowl Owl'!! lol

Followed a picture in this post on imag-e-nation forum but didn't have the same dies so just used what I had. Thanks ladies for showing us what you did.

Tools: Nestabilities Circles & Labels 4, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder 'Diamonds in the Rough'
Embellishments: Papermania Gem Brads, Paper bow from stash

Digi Image with Attitude!

Should have said from the start I'm no photographer & am using my little digital camera as best I can but please excuse the quality of the pictures. Any advice would be appreciated.

This image made me smile when I saw it on pcrafter.com and I just knew what I wanted to do with this Missy Duck with so much attitude! Printed her several times & decoupaged her. Sentiment is printed direct to cardstock & cut out with Nestabilities Circles, as was the image. Used EK Success corner punch on sentiment banner. Ribbon & flat backed gems from stash.

First Post!

Hi all. I'm new to this blogging lark so please be patient!  I'd sort of created this blog months ago but never got round to formatting, changing, editing or even posting anything until this week. Am on holiday till Monday and have spent my last few days off blog hopping & admiring all your great work. Hope I can keep this going once am back to work. lol Am not very good with ideas but find lots of inspiration from various sites and blogs.

This is one of three baby cards was asked to make for my friend's Mum, one for parents, grandparents & aunt.

Sentiment was printed direct to card. Nestabilities used for matting & Martha Stewart punch for edging. Ribbon & pearls from stash.
