LOTV Emma Swing

Not sure if I posted this already. Have so lost track of where I am with blogging! Sorry haven't been around for a while. Had a liking for the greens & blues for a while so I expect to find some more not posted so don't be surprised to see more of my 'blue period'!

Lili of the Valley stamp Emma Swing. Sentiment is LOTV too. Coloured with Promarkers as usual. Prima flowers. Tim Holtz die for border. Spacers & ribbon meen in stash for ages. Leaf punch is Martha Stewart, I think!

Can you tell I like this kinda layout? lol

Lili of the Valley 'Rosie Posy' coloured with Promarkers, Cheery Lynn leaf die (well I did say I loved this die & it would probably appear on every birthday card this side of Christmas)

Nestabilities for layers & the card shape was cut with Grand Nestabilities. Mark Richards pearls & that's about it.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Well posting these pics was a job and a half! I was given a new camera for my birthday & didn't check the settings. The photos were all 3.1mb when I downloaded them & it's taken me ages to figure out how to change them in the photo editor. Got it now though so just need to remember. Huh ... that'll be a laugh.

Stamped image is Lili of the valley 'Love Grows' coloured with Promarkers. Nestabilities for matting & layering, Anitas sticky ribbon (now there's a blast from the past - found it in my stash!) Mark Richard Pearls, Cheery Lynn leaf swirl & think the butterfly is Marianne.

Mothers Day Cards for Charity

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there. Hope you've enjoyed your day.

Once again this year have sold cards I made to my colleagues & will be sending the proceeds to 'Breast Cancer Care'. I just can't believe how generous people are! Have raised £93 to send which is more than last year & I thought that was good. Many thanks to all who donated.

All the cards have the same basic ingredients - Spellbinders Butterfly, Martha Stewart Edge Punch or Doo Hickey, Ribbon & Self adhesive gem stones, Cuttlebug Embossing folder. One or two had Metallic Rubons added on to embossing & some had Stickles added to the butterfly wings.

Wedding Invitations & No I'm not MIA ......

but my mojo was!! I'm trying hard to be inspired. So much so HAD to go to SECC at the weekend & buy some inspirational stash! Needs must. Have 4 birthdays & an anniversary card this month. Then there's the 20+ Mother's Day cards I make & sell for charity. Oh no! The panic'll set in in a minute so best move on.

Anyway .... some of the cards I've made recently & just not got round to posting. And watch this space cos now am here might be a while.

The Bride had an idea for her invites, (all 150 of them!) I just advised where to get the supplies & embellished it a little.

We had some fun making them. Yes, the Bride did help cutting the Nestabilities (all 300 - just as well considering my tennis elbow) & placing the ribbons. I love how they turned out. Simple but elegant. Inserts were printed on vellum.

Yellow Roses

Yellow roses for an Aunt of my Hubby's in sunny Greece. She loves yellow roses. Cut 3 of the image as well as printing direct to card & used my Nestability squares to size & cut layers. Some organza ribbon from a box from C&C and some Mark Richards pearls coloured with my Promarkers cos didn't have any in yellow!
