Mother's Day Cards for Charity

Here are some of the cards I made to sell at work. All proceeds to Breast Cancer Care. Managed to raise £279 this year so really pleased.

All variations on a theme but have to make them as quick & easy as possible so can make more for the charity, lol.

The Deboss side for a change

Used the Crafts Too Trees embossing folder but the deboss side for a change.

Added the Marianne Design Creatables Die Christmas Tree 3 with 'baubles' & star & stamped the star & 'Merry Christmas'. Stamps were from a magazine freebie methinks.

Marianne Creatables Tree

This was made from some Hunkydory card I had left from a kit. I just added a Marianne Design Creatables Die Christmas Tree 3 diecut tree & punched some 'baubles' from scraps of card.

White on White

I just love the freshness & simplicity of white on white. (Note to self ... make more LIM cards & less where you think you have to throw EVERYTHING at it!)

Loved this Marianne Anja Edge border the first time I saw it & knew exactly what I would use it for. The Memory Box Catalina Wreath added & then some Meiflower Pearls. The butterfly is also a Marianne Creatables. The image inside is a telephone table & a chair cos apparently this dear lady always stays on the phone for at least her 60 free minutes!

Mother's Day Charity Production Line

Found these cards had bought yonks ago from C&C so decided to use them for some of my Mother's Day cards. There's glitter on the insert so you can see it through the filigree(spell?) work. Made 10 of these.

Then did my usual & out came my Cuttlebug for the next batch......

Used various embossing folders. Made 25 of these. All sold really well.

Mariann butterflies, Memory Box Pastry Label Die, Martha Stewart Garden Trellis punch, Various Cuttlebug Embossing folders, Ribbon from stash.

Mother's Day Lili of The Valley

LOTV 'Milly Flower Power' coloured with Promarkers. Nesties used for matting & layering. Magnolia Doohickey die for leaves & Kuretake (I think?) punch for flowers.

Marianne Design Creatable Butterfly, Meiflower Pearls in flower centres & Flat back gems on butterfly & Stickles to add glitter!

Oh and almost forgot... I won this stamp & more plus diecuts from LOTV in another competition in Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine. Lucky to win once but twice, woo hoo! Only one of the stamps was a duplicate so will run a mini blog candy later to give it away.

Thanks for looking.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Well posting these pics was a job and a half! I was given a new camera for my birthday & didn't check the settings. The photos were all 3.1mb when I downloaded them & it's taken me ages to figure out how to change them in the photo editor. Got it now though so just need to remember. Huh ... that'll be a laugh.

Stamped image is Lili of the valley 'Love Grows' coloured with Promarkers. Nestabilities for matting & layering, Anitas sticky ribbon (now there's a blast from the past - found it in my stash!) Mark Richard Pearls, Cheery Lynn leaf swirl & think the butterfly is Marianne.

Thanks for looking.

Marianne & Nestability squares for sentiment. Self adhesive flat back pearls. I do like white on white with just a little colour.

Another Kenny K

I'm still trying to use all the Kenny K Digi images I got so you may see a theme developing here.

This one was also coloured with Promarkers. Papers are Dovecraft. Nestie Blossom for computer generated sentiment & Nestie Rectangles for main image. Kuretake (I think) for small flowers. Papermania gem brads. And just had to use my new Magnolia Doohickey Tilda Lace Border and Marianne Creatables Branch. Phew. That's the first time have taken note of evrything I used and probably the first time I got it right.

Now just need to get my photography sorted cos the colours are deeper in reality.
