Lili of the Valley Prize

Woohoo!! How lucky was I then???  I won a Lili of the Valley prize from the 'Cardmaking & Papercraft' Magazine. As well as 10 sheets of toppers like this one I won 10 of their beautiful stamps & 1 set of their circular sentiments!

I just added a computer generated 'magic wand' image & sentiment to this one with some pink mirri matting, some ribbon & then some Stickles. Melissa will love it. Still can't believe I won!

Don't forget you can win one of their new release for November stamps too.... see my post

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Well posting these pics was a job and a half! I was given a new camera for my birthday & didn't check the settings. The photos were all 3.1mb when I downloaded them & it's taken me ages to figure out how to change them in the photo editor. Got it now though so just need to remember. Huh ... that'll be a laugh.

Stamped image is Lili of the valley 'Love Grows' coloured with Promarkers. Nestabilities for matting & layering, Anitas sticky ribbon (now there's a blast from the past - found it in my stash!) Mark Richard Pearls, Cheery Lynn leaf swirl & think the butterfly is Marianne.

Lili of the Valley New Stamp Giveaway

In my excitement at buying new LOTV stamps at SECC yesterday I managed to pick up 2 of this little cutie.....

She's called 'Positively Pampered'. (Pic taken from LOTV website as I haven't had a chance to use her yet) Their new range are due for general release 10th November. They had a few of them at SECC but I believe they will have all the new ones available next weekend at NEC.

Anyway ... I digress. If you'd like to have this little beauty just add a comment to this post & I'll randomly select a winner on Wednesday evening. Good luck.

Mothers Day Cards for Charity

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there. Hope you've enjoyed your day.

Once again this year have sold cards I made to my colleagues & will be sending the proceeds to 'Breast Cancer Care'. I just can't believe how generous people are! Have raised £93 to send which is more than last year & I thought that was good. Many thanks to all who donated.

All the cards have the same basic ingredients - Spellbinders Butterfly, Martha Stewart Edge Punch or Doo Hickey, Ribbon & Self adhesive gem stones, Cuttlebug Embossing folder. One or two had Metallic Rubons added on to embossing & some had Stickles added to the butterfly wings.
