Last minute again so used a previous pyramage image and added some wider ribbon this time.

The layers are gold although you wouldn't think so from this pic.

More for the baby

Similar but different. Some of these images came from someone on Imag-e-nation Forum too. Had to keep them as simple as poss because there were just so many to do.

At last ....... new post .....

Have almost forgotten how to do this! Sorry have been such a bad blogger of late but things just happened & uploading pics went to the bottom of the looooong list of 'to do'. Hope you like what have chosen to post & apologies if some are familiar but lacking mojo so have been resurrecting some previous styles used.

This is a different one for me though. A decoupage I think came from Marj on the old Imag-e-nation site. Apologies if should have given the credit to someone else but have had it for a long time. This is one of many I made for the same baby. His Great Nana asked me to make some for the baby, parents, Grandparents. His Nana is a good friend so I had to make some to give from myself for the parents  etc. So it was a busy time. And he arrived the day before I went on holiday on the 10.10.10 so was extremely busy when I got back!

Scrapbook First

I've only ever attempted one scrapbook for my niece for her 21st birthday. When I realised one of the categories in the local agricultural show Home Industries class was a scrapbook page I asked my sis to send me back a couple of pages to enter.

They were awarded 1st equal! How surprised was I? Just as well really cos got nowt, zilch, nada for my card this year!

Grande Latte Birthday

Whenever my friend and I get together we order Latte so when I saw this I just knew what the inside of her card would look like this year! It was a wee bit fiddly cos it's only a 4" square card and it didn't turn out as neat as I hoped (I have big fingers!!) but still, it's the thought that counts. Found the template and instructions on the Canon website when I was looking for some info on my printer. It's amazing what papercrafting info is on there. Made the outside quite plain so she gets a surprise when the cup of coffee pops up.

My friend also bakes cakes, hence all the embellishments.

Yellow Roses

Yellow roses for an Aunt of my Hubby's in sunny Greece. She loves yellow roses. Cut 3 of the image as well as printing direct to card & used my Nestability squares to size & cut layers. Some organza ribbon from a box from C&C and some Mark Richards pearls coloured with my Promarkers cos didn't have any in yellow!

G'day mate .... Och aye the noo!

Well this was a different card to make!

Found some images, Scottish & Australian circle flags cut with nesties & stuck together on invisible thread to spin round. Australian map inside, Scottish map on back. Real corks on hat were punched with hole punch from a cork floor tile & stitched on with gold thread! Image was then put on acetate strip to make it 'bob'

Mum's 80th

It's my Mum's 80th next Monday & she loves flowers so it just had to be ......

I'm quite safe to post this as she doesn't have a computer & would probably be the first to say she wouldn't even know how to switch it on! The flowers are purple & lilac although they look blue in the pic.

My sister & I took her away last weekend for a wee break & met up with my brother, his wife & son. She said she really enjoyed herself so well worth all the organising to get us all in one place at one time.

Thanks for looking.

Clean And Simple

Printing, embossing, cutting with Nestabilities, corner rounder punching & paper piercing are all the ingredients for this Clean And Simple design. I'm definitely leaning towards the less is more when I can. There's something about some clean, simple lines.

Can you tell he's a tennis coach?!*?

Please feel free to comment, good or bad. I like to read your comments & then I can use the link back to your blog for a visit.

Peter Rabbit 3D Reveal

For a little lady who just loves Peter Rabbit & Mr McGregor's garden in particular. She also likes pink so when I found the pinkish Mr McGregor's garden thought that would suit her card. When she comes to visit she can't wait to look over the fence into the neighbour's 'busy' garden cos she thinks it's Mr McGregor's!

I thought I would try a 3D reveal after seeing a demo of one. Not quite right but I'm fairly happy with the outcome. Just printing & cutting to produce the card.

Never Ending Card

Thought would give a never ending card a go.........never ending as in time it took to think of how to decorate all the panels! Used various stamps & peel offs. Young lad likes football & his dog! And that's all! Matting & layering all done with Nestabilities, used several Cuttlebug embossing folders and a bit of colouring with Sakura pens.

Apologies for the photos (again) but it's either too sunny or too dark... there just ain't a happy medium these days. Feels like winter today. Am just about to look out the hot water bottle before I head to bed. Brrrrrrr.

Am sure he will appreciate the card. If not his Dad will. Used Cuttlebug alphabet for name & numbers

And finally ........

Am absolutely positive I had scheduled this post the last time I was on but it disappeared somewhere in blogland. Not the first time I've thought that but old memory not so good either. Anyone else having this problem? Where am I going wrong? Your help would be appreciated.
